そうはいっても、人生というのは、タイミングがなかなか合わないものだ。時間があってやる気があるときに資金や場所がなかったり、また、資金も場所もできた頃には、時間もやる気も消えていたりする。いろいろな条件が一致しないとできない難しいものがたしかにある。だからその場合は、自分で自分をコントロールして、タイミングを合わせる工夫をしなければならないだろう。

高飛びの選手は、単に高く飛べるだけではなく、「その位置」で高く飛べる技術を磨いているのだ。

ところで、子供というのは非常に直観的で素直だから、生きるための参考になる。飛行機が作りたい、と思ったら、子供はすぐに模型屋さんに見にいくだろう。お金がないし、技術もない。それでも、自分のお小遣いで買えるプロペラだけでも買ってしまうのだ。こういった無謀な積極性というのは、大人になるほど失われる。
